Oldest Member of the band (beating Richard by a mere month!)

I am self taught and joined the band approximately in1970. I first played the bugle in the Boys Brigade and progressed eventually to a trumpet combo playing Jazz.

I have played several positions in the band, back row cornet, many years on Sop and front row. I was a member of the band in the 1990 “glory years” and have fond memories of us winning 10 contests in a row.
