I joined the band in January 2004.
I started playing aged 11 with Flixton Silver Band starting on 2nd baritone and worked my way up to Solo Euphonium. Then I played 2nd Euphonium and BBb Bass with Urmston and Davyhulme.
I gave up banding completely in November 1988 a month after I got married (no coincidence honestly!). I took it up again when I joined Sale.
